O-TOILET
Proposal for a toilet and mini-park in front of the station. We wanted to create a place that would widely promote the history of this city, where many shell mounds have been excavated, to visitors from home and abroad. The building shape, which looks like an excavated shell mound, serves as a lantern that illuminates the city at night. The cross section was built up to the elevation to avoid reflections from lighting and glass that would interrupt the operation of the train.
トイレ発掘
駅前トイレ・ミニ公園修景の提案。多くの古墳が発掘されているこの街の歴史を国内外から訪れる来訪者に広く伝えていく場所にしたいと考えた。貝塚を発掘したような建物形状は、夜には街を照らす灯篭のような役割を持つ。電車の運行を妨げる照明やガラスの反射が発生しないように、平断面を立面に建ち上げた形状にした。
